To write the report, Heartland assembled a group it calls the Nongovernmental International Panel on Climate Change ( NIPCC), a particularly revealing choice of name. The motocross section is also a spectator favorite. Spectators are welcome to watch riders take on the GBC obstacle challenge which features huge boulders, trees, and hills. The atmosphere is intended for families and friends to spend time and enjoy the race together. No, everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend. Be sure to bring out the whole family to cheer them on! Youth riders will have a chance to show off their skills during the youth race early Saturday morning. Both races will be put riders and their machines to the test. It definitely takes some unique skills to handle and conquer a nighttime track. Keep in mind the SXS and a portion of the ATV race will be taking place during the evening hours. The SXS teams are also put to the challenge with a four-hour race that starts as the sun sets on Friday night. If you think you got what it takes to win it on your own, then we dare you to sign up for the IRON MAN class! And don’t forget your lights as a third of the race and finish is at night! But pick your teams wisely as the competition will be fierce. This is an excellent opportunity to ride with family, friends, or even your greatest rival. The ATV classes are made up of teams of either two or three riders and allow each rider to use his or her own ATV. For those racers who enjoy bar to bar racing or spectating the track features a lite motocross section as well.

The race is TEN straight hours (for the adult ATV classes) of open grass fields, technical woods sections, an optional GBC challenge section, all with conditions that can change every lap. The ATV race accommodates all ages and skill levels, from Pro Riders to Youth racers just starting out. No points are awarded, only bragging rights and the coveted Corn Cob Trophy!
